The Inner Me: What Every Young Indian Girl Wants To Say, Loud And Clear!

The little soulful girl with a pretty smile,

The wild girl who wants to travel,
explore the world.
The girl who needs the love of her life,
who wants to fullfil her sexual desires,
the love, the lust.
The girl who wants her right to speak up, have an opinion, it to be heard.
The woman who demands respect,
the dignity from her family and society.
The woman who wants to be an asset to the nation.

But alas,
The inner me is dying, day by day.
The fear is killing the girl, the woman.
The fear of being caged, with the strings of emotions, beliefs disbelief, myths, the superstitions.

This millennial girl is still the same old girl who has to live her life obeying the rest!

Thus life.
No! It’s not hers!
She belongs to her man, family, the society.

The fear of being left out,
all alone in  the world unknown,
which she heard,
A bad place,
full of dacoits and rapists, all set to loot you.
This she heard,
from the ones she loved, she believed.
Now she’s sick,
the disease of fear has made her sick,
Set her free, from the strings of fear,
Let her breath the air of freedom,
Let her speak with pride,
Let her find out,
How beautiful the world is!
