As Akshay Kumar says in the film, “Padman”, “Big men and strong men don’t make a country strong… but strong women, strong mothers, strong sisters make a country strong.”
And what else could have been better than our very first project being on the Woman’s Day spent with these beautiful children helping them get over the “taboo” of mensuration.
Actively supported by Rotary Club of Tezpur , as part of the mission under Rotaract Club of Guwahati Luit, we just started our part for #WeForHer by a seminar and donating sanitary napkins to around 90 young girls.
We would like to thank the College of Nursing, KCH and Baptist Christian Hospital, Tezpur for their efforts.
