Will people Re-elect Modi in 2019 or Dump Him?

The first thing must be understood, that is, what is “Election” today. It is no more a tool in hands of the people or voters to do the desired changes or install a different government, which is for the people.

See, how it was fought in the previous American election, which was dubbed as a fight for the “lesser evil”, where the total number of votes managed by Hillary Clinton was approximately 2.8 million, though she lost. In the recent election in Karnataka, Congress got 38% of votes polled and BJP 36%, but it got the maximum number of seats, 104. Congress could manage only 78, while JDS 37.

Notwithstanding the number of votes or percentage, see how elections are being fought today? It is a pure business, where the oligarchs, big capitalists & financiers select their political parties & the leaders and “present” them to the people to elect them! One section wins, other loses, but in the final analysis, the government formed works for the real masters of the country and not the people, who are 90–95% of the total population.

Now, in addition to billions being invested into this business, namely election, we have media, social media, goons on streets who poison the environment with lies, treacheries, photo shops, religion, caste, fake but similar candidates fighting election and managing 4–5000 votes to counter the opposition candidate, rigging election, EVM manipulation, biased EC, police, bureaucracy, post election corrupt & inefficient judiciary, defection of Lawmakers, defection of party itself (JDU in Bihar), blackmailing these lawmakers by CBI, Crime Branch, IT Depts, penetration of foreign intelligence, like CIA/Mossad and 100s of other variables, which is unimaginable for common man.

Finally, what about breaking promises blatantly to help the investors, the big capitalists, financiers by changing laws (Labour laws, Land Acquisition law, GST, Aadhaar Card, etc) and dumping the working class, peasants and making them bleed them even more!

And to answer the question, I must thank you for reading up to hear. In present-day Fascism, the most rotten and violent form of capitalism, where a section of the people support BJP/RSS not for development but for religious ignorance and in hope of India becoming number one in the world! Here unemployment, poverty, rising crime and corruption have become non-issues. So a section of the people, approximately 30–32% may still vote Modi, but if EVM remains intact and opposition unites for their own survival and not for the people or democracy, Modi will lose!

Otherwise, fascism cannot be defeated by election or constitutional methods, as they have been already demolished but only through another mass movement, better say, mass revolution, where it has to be demolished and establish people’s democracy and not back to democracy for the bourgeois class!
