How To Get Out Of A Toxic Relationship (With The Environment)

Ladies, it’s time for an intervention: we’re in a toxic relationship with the environment, and it’s time for us to do something about it!

The products manufactured for a woman’s “well-being” contribute to an astonishing amount of pollution and waste on a daily basis and we don’t even realise it. Here are a few alternatives we can adapt to reduce this toxicity:

The growing amount of non-biodegradable menstrual waste that ends up in landfills on a daily basis is something we can consciously make an effort to do something about, by using menstrual cups, reusable pads or chlorine-free tampons.

Being mindful of the different chemicals present in the beauty products we use can make a huge difference in reducing not just the amount of waste and pollution caused by us, but in reducing the amount of harm done to our body as well!

The environment pays a huge price for the major discounts on the price tags of the clothes we buy, making the fashion industry the second-most pollution-causing industry in the world. Make conscious decisions to know where your clothes come from, how they’re made, and who’s making them, before you make a purchase next time.

These are just a few simple things that we can do to improve our relationship with the environment. Watch the video to know more and let us know what you think in the comments below!
