Director Milind Ukey has been the talk of the town ever since he announced his new conceptual sport-centric movie ‘Monsoon Football’. Recently the talented director celebrated his birthday (5th of June), wherein the team of Monsoon Football surprised him with a cake identical to a football and ‘Monsoon Football’ written all over the cake. The evening was also attended by the beautiful actress Vidya Malvade (despite high fever she managed to take some time out to visit the director on his birthday) and the talented duo music directors Saurabh & Durgesh and the lyricist Deepak Angewar. The celebration took place during the recording of the promotional anthem of Monsoon Football.
Despite the busy schedule and the preparation of the movie it sure wasn’t an easy task to have the entire team onboard at the same time, but the team planned it well and without fail they managed to pull off a great surprise for their beloved director and made his day brighter.
‘’I am really stunned and humbled with such a gesture by my team. It was indeed a special birthday for me to see my entire family and work-family come together for the celebration. I’m speechless and just have tons of gratitude towards my team for managing everything and of course, Vidya Malvade for taking out the time to be a part of my day. We called for a double celebration as on the same day we finished recording the promotional anthem of Monsoon Football which is highly inspiring and motivating, Saurabh-Durgesh have done a fabulous job with the music and of course the lyricist Deepak Angewar has given amazing lyrics to them’’ says the director of Monsoon Football, Milind Ukey.
As per the confirmed report ,Vidya Malvade will be joining in the team of Milind Ukey’s sport-centric Marathi movie with Sagarika Ghatge and Chitrashi Rawat. Sounds like a re-union of Chak De! India, yet again?
