Telangana State Public Service Commission Released Various Jobs

Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) is a body created by the Constitution of India to select the applicants for civil service jobs in Telangana State according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.

This Constitutional body was established under the Article 315 of the Constitution of India which provides a smooth and efficient functioning of the Telangana Government. The Recruitment Body provides jobs to the suitable candidates for various Government Posts and advise them on various service matters like the Formulation of the Recruitment Rules, Advise on Promotions, Transfers and Disciplinary actions etc.

The Constitutional Body was formed on 2nd June 2014 as Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission bifurcated into APPSC and TSPSC. The Official website was launched on 11th April 2015 by Governor E. S. L Narasimhan. Ghanta Charkrapani was appointed as the first Chairman of TSPSC who is a Professor in B. R Ambedkar Open University.

TSPSC Organization-

Telangana State Public Service Commission is headed by the Chairman with three additional members. These members are appointed by the Governor of Telangana. As of April 2015, the TSPSC comprises of a Chairman and three members. The names of the members are-

  1. Prof. Ghanta Chakrapani (Chairman)

  2. C. Vittal (Telangana Activist)

  3. Dr. Banoth Chandravathi (Ex- MLA)

  4. Dr. Mohd. Mateennuddin Quadri (Social Activist)

Functions of Telangana State Public Service Commission

The main objective of Telangana State Public Service Commission is to select the best suitable candidates for various Government Posts in Telangana State. The important statutory functions of the Commissions are –
