The world seemed to come to a standstill. Though we were doing our routine jobs yet every now and then, our minds would travel to the mysterious Thai caves which had trapped a team of under-19 football players. The three realms seemed to vibrate with the frequency of silent prayers. This invisible force perhaps accelerated the Universal Power to rewind time and set events right.
No matter what devices were brought into action to rescue the players, the humble role of ‘willpower’ cannot be underestimated. When nothing seems to surround them except darkness, dampness, moist breath of approaching death and of course the air, loaded with prayers of concern and life longevity, their coach helped them meditate.
Reports say that he guided them on how to calm down and meditate so that they can conserve their breath and energy. The flow of adrenaline was reined. This helped to keep fear at bay.
Though it is true that their survival, in the absence of help, would have been impossible but they were able to buy time in their struggle by remaining calm.
