A Letter From You, To You: Why You Must Tell The Woman In You That You Love Her

Dear women,

Are you patiently for someone to notice that beautiful new dress you are wearing today?

Or are you expecting them to shower you with praise for the new dish that you made with a lot of effort?

Maybe you are simply waiting for them to come and sit next to you and ask how are you doing?

The last question from my side:

How many times have you waited, secretly craving for any of these and how many times have you been disappointed?

A lot of women think or perhaps act like they are strong and independent women who can handle themselves pretty well. But at some stolen moments in their life, they do want to be taken care of, pampered and appreciated. Especially if they are married or in a relationship.

Because men are mentally wired in a completely different manner from women, they seldom act in the way women want them to, and vice versa. You and your husband, at a given point in time, will have different mindsets, outlooks, and temperaments.

Therefore, whenever you feel less loved, unnoticed, or simply sad, take charge of making yourself happy. Don’t expect it from anyone else. And how do you do that?

Try this – write a loving letter to yourself, think that you are writing the letter as Romeo. Address it to the Juliet in you.

Start thinking about yourself, your grace and beauty, recall all your striking features, the consistent efforts you make, the hard work you do or the amount of love you give to people.

Write about the times you think you looked remarkable. Compliment yourself in abundance. Sing rhapsodies, show empathy, tell yourself that you deserve love and more. Console yourself that even if you’re not getting what you want right now, you will get it sooner or later.

Tell the woman in you that you love her. Remind her to take care of herself and continue to shine. Motivate her that after every night, there is a promising sunshine. Remind her that she has to work on herself, not to prove herself to others, but to become content when rejections come her way.

Give her a warm ending note and with a lot of love, promise her that you will write back.

After you do so, put this letter in an envelope and keep it somewhere you can find it easily. When the day ends, open the letter and start reading it to yourself.

We need to start with ourselves and then expect something from others. If we don’t love ourselves, respect ourselves, take care of ourselves, take our careers seriously, then no one else will. No matter how much workload you have in a day, don’t forget to take that second loving look in the mirror and appreciate yourself. If you see pimples, consider your teenage still alive in you. If you see wrinkles, consider them as your wisdom lines.

Love and embrace yourself as a person and not the outer appearance. Let us not think that we need to become proud or selfish, we simply need to give ourselves the kind of love we have always wanted. If you are getting it from your own people, perfect! But loving yourself won’t harm you in any way.

So ladies, will you do this today?
