Senior BJP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Subramanian Swamy’s recent allegation against Rahul Gandhi has shown his bad sense of humour.
In response to Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal’s comment wherein she said that those people who had accused 70% Punjabis of being drug addicts are themselves embroiled in drugs, Swamy was quoted saying, “I welcome her [Harsimrat] statement. The person she is referring to is none other than Rahul Gandhi. It was he who said 70% Punjabis are drug addicts. Rahul Gandhi certainly takes narcotics, especially cocaine. He will surely fail a dope test.”
Is this his frustration or his usual habit of laughing at Rahul Gandhi day after day? That is why senior leaders spare no time in mocking Gandhi for publicity.
Senior BJP leader Subramanian Swamy’s reaction has certainly expressed bitterness. His endless hunger to criticise, and the aggressive thirst to condemn Congress party leaders was exposed with this comment.
