The teaching of good morals is the greatest gift to the youth. It is the good morals which call forth the humanity in man. It due to good morals that man recognizes the rights of man. It because of good morals that man attains the level of real humanity.
If we give wealth to our youth, gift them bungalows, assign the properties to them, but do not acquaint them with those ways which ensure the well-being of the people, the youth will spend their wealth and property in committing sins and causing sufferings to others.
We observe today that etiquettes have disappeared from society, modesty and decency have become extinct. Respecting elders have been thrown overboard. The distinction between right and wrong is no longer observed.
We witness the consequences of these evils every day. The people pride themselves on being immodest and are happy to adopt a meaningless lifestyle which does not benefit them in any way. Let alone giving up the evils ways, these people have lost even consciousness of evil.
As young adults, we should shoulder the responsibility by revoking all such practices which are nothing but destructive and devoid us of humanity in our astray society. It’s alarmingly late but we need to redress our issues through the teachings of good morals which are obligatory for the sustenance of humanity and not only just emphasizing the protection of this planet and its resources alone.
Perhaps the need of the hour is just a giveaway stored and dusted in the hearts, past the due date yet requires a simple willingness to grant, the teachings of good moral are the essential endowments awaiting to impart.
