You might be a college student or might have graduated already but you surely must have heard of private colleges.
This blog talks about why private college educated students are not complete engineers or doctors. Also, you should be well aware that private college life is totally different from that of a government-run institute.
Private colleges have a separate technique in teaching students. These colleges do this for the benefit of the masterminds behind these institutions and the not for the benefit of the students. They teach their students through ‘spoon-feeding’.
Ideally, students must find themselves a method of living so that they are able to face obstacles in life. To help achieve this, private colleges are wrong choices. Parents just want a degree for their children, a label in front of their names. Why do they do this? It is time for a change.
I have heard that in some private institutes, teachers carry a long stick to classes so that they can punish those who haven’t done their homework or haven’t studied well. They do this for 4 – 5 years and they force students to become an engineer or a doctor. In this way the push for jobs in IT companies and medical fields increase rapidly which results in lack of jobs and the remaining jobless students just stay jobless or roam through the streets for whatever job they get. If this is why they chose the course then they could have at least saved 4-5 years of their life.
The heads of private colleges are business minded. No doubt about that. If their students pass out and become the “CEOs” of Google then, they make sure they capitalise on it. But what is the point in making a person the CEO of Google if he was destined to become Angelina Jolie or Robert Downey Jr.?
If private colleges continue doing this, at some point in future, the students who graduated from these colleges will think back and find they chose the wrong path.
I want to tell you that colleges should encourage students to become what they want to be, not to become ‘forced’ graduates.
Govt. colleges are places where the real swords are made. The real degree holders come from there. A lot of extracurricular activities take place in govt. colleges. There will be lots of stuff apart from studying alone. This is what college students should come through. They can do whatever they want. They are like free birds and have full freedom. From this, if the student succeeds, then they will be able to handle any worse situation in their life.
So this is for those students who are passed out and for those presently studying in private colleges. As everyone learns from mistakes, you should be positive and please do not end up defeated by the thought that you are from a private college or you cannot succeed. Follow your thoughts and do the best you can. Then surely success follows. I can guarantee on that.
So that was just my suggestion. I am no one to start a revolution and end private education. So give your opinions in the comment section below. If you have read the blog, you might have understood my take on the difference between private and government education. And thank you for patiently reading the blog.
