youth and the orthodox LKK syndrome!!!

When I was a kid, I used to practice cricket shots with my bat standing on the verandah. My neighbours used to laugh at my act.I was really interested in cricket and everyone in the lane knew about my passion for cricket. One day , I decided to tell my interest to my parents and when they heard it, they laughed at me and said that people would laugh at them if they allowed me to follow my passion as I live in a small town.
THAT WAS JUST THE START!!

Everyone has the LOK KYA KAHENGE SYNDROME injected in them by their parents. This is a serious issue faced by the youth which indeed entangles the ‘wings’ of the most dynamic section of the society (Since we usually mention that the future of a Nation lies in the youth ….and if I list the expectation society have on the Youth, it will be never ending one)  ,the WINGS that should actually be the Wings Of Fire!!.From our hair style to our dressing, everything is influenced by the opinion of others. For example if a student is above average in his/her studies,it is a custom that he/she should pursue a professional course.   He/she is not even asked about his/her opinion.
Indian parents are really into this LKK thing. Due to the LKK syndrome, they are really pressurising their children. For example,if a student secure 95% in his/her studies, what the INDIAN parents first look at is about the 5%, such is the situation here. A youth’s life in INDIA can be compared to that of a robot, everything is pre-programmed and it works according to the input given by others without any self input.

Well, when we live in a society ,it is quite natural that we follow a code of conduct.   But we should have our own opinions, views, dreams and should only act according to it. That is the only way to be happy and joyful thus controlling the LKK syndrome.

‘Tit For Tat’……..Haha …U heard it right. This was the essence of one of my childhood bedtime stories. I guess the same game can be played here…..MMKK-another syndrome or a kind of thought could definitely  be a good move against the Villain of the plot-LKK Syndrome. Puzzled as to what is MMKK??…here it  goes Mujse Me Kya Kahunga. MMKK in my opinion should be given a space in your entire thought process since ultimately it is you who have to live with your life which is like water and is shaped by the decisions, actions and choices you make. So if you don’t play it well thinking what people would say your life will take a shape which is not able to fit you.

So guys….Do you want to be  Cinderella or her sisters who miserably failed trying to fit themselves into a shoes unfit for them??……Let us embrace the MMKK and fly beyond the glass ceiling.
