The BJP government is no more a political party; it has become a farce. Amidst the fight between hyper-“Hindi”-chauvinism and cultural identity, another attack plummeted on domiciles of Assam. Over the last decade, India’s ruling party BJP has conducted vicious attacks on the Indian people. Around 40 lakh people in Assam have been left out of a draft list of citizens released last week and face the threat of deportation if they cannot prove their citizenship.
The corporate media houses are giving credence to the canard that has been spread by BJP leaders in the name of ‘cow-mate’ and ‘goat-mate’. Although the government is trying to render the decision of NRC as a paragon of benign interest, i.e., national security, but what about the people of Assam? Greedy politicians are trying to polarise the people before the 2019 general elections.
Many people from Assam, who are not from well-to-do households, are unable to provide the citizenship certificate. The blind “bhakti”, who speaks frivolously over every issue, is being insistent over this. Many are supporting BJP’s decision while the others are taking out protests. But between this political upheaval, are the opponent and ruling parties trying to masquerade the reality of deporting domiciles of Assam?
According to diasporas of Assam, any deported individual is ordered to refrain from crossing 500 sq meter area from the deporting camp. On another side, a young man called Sabir Shah has been arrested for being articulate against the decision of NRC. The capricious BJP lead Govt. is trying to hide the plethora of ‘jumla’ (e.g.= 15 lakh to every citizen, returning of black money, 2 crore jobs every year, demonetization, sabka sath-sabka vikash etc.) to win the election and continue kowtow in-front of large corporates like Adani, Ambani etc. Why am I inflicting this on the readers? I can doggedly claim that the BJP has enough moves up their sleeves to a make permanent crevice in the parliament and in the fate of our country.
