Antilla- Mukesh Ambani’s mansion located on the Altamount Road in South Mumbai is estimated to be the second most expensive residence in the world after Buckingham Palace. Antilla was designed by Chicago-based architect Perkins and Will and the Australian-based company Leighton Holdings took charge of its construction.
If media reports are to be believed, the cost of the high-end mansion is estimated to be $ 1–2 billion. The 400,000-square-foot building is located on Altamount Road in south Mumbai, which is considered one of the world’s most expensive addresses. Passing through the trends of property, this road is between Rs 80,000 and Rs 85,000 per square foot of any real estate.

The house inspired by the legendary Atlantic Island, Mukesh Ambani’s residence, has 27 floors, with extra-high ceilings, which can escape the 8th earthquake on the Richter scale. Each floor is equal to the average 2 storey building height. The roof is so high that there can be 60 floors of equal height in other buildings. The height of the 27-storey building is 570 feet.
In the underground parking in the house, there are six stories of three helicopter pads. The garage has space for 168 cars and there is also a private car service station on the 7th floor in Antilla. Mukesh Ambani, chairman and business magnate of Reliance Industries, has a large body for cars and is said to have devoted six whole floors to his beloved cars. The Antilla has its car service station on floor seven, besides a garage that can accommodate up to 168 cars.
There is also a salon in the mansion, an ice cream parlour and a private movie theatre which has the capacity of 50 people, a ballroom as well as many guest suites for their famous friends. There is also a home theatre for about 50 people in Antilla, an outdoor/indoor bar, scores of powder rooms, an entertainment centre, and a large room for staff is a place to relax.
