Exclusion of 40 lakh people from NRC changes political discourse

Whether the extradition treaty is clear on Bangladeshi immigrants in India or not.  The deportation cannot be possibly done in such case. India entered into the treaty to bring back the ULFA separatists. The fate of forty lakh excluded from the National Register of the Citizenship hangs in balance. They stare at their uncertain future but stay calm. How can they be pushed out to Bangladesh in case of rejection? As regards Dharamshala, our country has accepted Aryans, Huns, Portuguese, Arabs, Afghans, Jews, Dutch and English people. All these people came and settled here. The recent Hungama is merely political for all the political parties that aim to contest elections in days to come. The ruling party knows very well that this issue of immigrants can bring sufficient benefit in the form of votes. The Congress party disagrees with the BJP on the issue and the Communists show sympathy with those declared migrants. It is not only in our country but even the European countries have also experimented with an issue of a spurt in the Muslim population. Such kind of voice subsides with the passing of the time only to raise it once again. The issue is not NRC exercise under the supervision of the apex court. Those numbers of enormous people were supposed to have come from Bangladesh told to prove their identity. The humanitarian ground loses its vehemence in view of political perplexity. The matter, as certain politicians rightly said, was directly linked up with the Muslim inhabitants in Assam. The political benefit could be reaped by bringing their settlement in the state of Assam by political tint. That was being done with forceful efforts as the ruling party leaders and opposition parties spare no time in expressing some words on the intricate issue.
