INCREASING INHUMANE IN HUMANS

“Itni dararo me bhi, darar kyon krte ho,
2019 ke liye takrar abhi se kyon krte ho”

On July 30, the NRC (National Register of Citizens) published a triggering report that left out 40 lakh people. In other words, 40 lakh people whose 3 generations had lived in India were told that they’re not citizens anymore.

It is duly noted that NRC contains names of Indian citizens of Assam. It was thought of in 1951 after 1951 census of India. The NRC update of 2014-2016 across Assam includes the names of those people (or of their descendants) who appear in the NRC 1951 ,or in any of the electoral rolls up to the midnight of March 24,1971 or in any one of the other admissable documents issued up to the midnight of 24 March 1971, which would prove their presence in Assam on or before 24 March 1971, The NRC(1951) and the electoral rolls up to the midnight of 24march 1971 together are collectively termed as Legacy Data.

On July 30, 2018, the final draft of NRC was released names of 40 lakh(4 million) people were still left out in the final draft.
And as carrying our Indian legacy of Discrimination, The KSU(Khasi students union) and some other groups had set up Check Posts on the highways and other border routes to keep ‘illegal migrants’ out of “our homeland”.

Since yesterday they had harassed & manhandled over 1,000 persons on highways only.
If the things will be carried like this, soon it will lead to the RIOTS of original or unoriginal residents of Assam by creating a new or latest wall apart from religion, caste, class or colour etc.

We are a country where 49,481 births per day or more than 1.5 million births per month takes place and yet still our country is incapable of residing 40 lac people who were already residing here from past almost half a century.

What will happen to these people if they got deported? Yesterday, INU minister of Bangladesh stated that “Bangladesh is interested in getting its due share of water from India rather than a part of the citizens of Assam,” making it clear that soon these 40 lac people will be of nowhere.

Aren’t we the people, who share or comment on the crisis of Syria, Baghdad, Iran, Palestine or the whole world by sharing the bloodshed pictures of treacherous victims of dividing politics?

#insaniyatsharmshar #wakeurhumanity etc are the hashtags that we use.

We the people of India are the descendants of Great Akbar, Great Ashoka and Great Shivaji who were known for their human values in all our the world. We had the policy of tolerance even in 1625 when we were contributing 27% of the GDP of the world, when Britishers and dutch backstabbed us but still we welcomed them with open hands and hearts.

NOW IT IS NOT ABOUT THEM-IT IS ABOUT US, IT IS NOT ABOUT THOSE PEOPLE – IT IS ABOUT OUR PEOPLE.
Sometimes it is said “mera Bharat mahan nahi h” — “par galti meri hai”.
We have to make it, nobody will give us – we have to take it (the word mahan)
