In Demand For Special Status, TDP MP Reaches Parliament Dressed As Hitler

TDP MP Naramalli Shivaprasad reaches Parliament Dressed As Adolf Hitler

In order to express his protest regarding the failure of the BJP Government to reserve a special status for (residual) Andhra Pradesh, Telugu Desam Party MP Naramalli Shivaprasad came to the Parliament, the dome of democracy, dressed as the dictator Adolf Hitler during the ongoing Monsoon Session. He seems to feel no remorse in dressing up as the dictator.

If a political objective is not getting fulfilled, the politicians prefer to change their appearance; they choose to present themselves as mirror images of mythological figures, historic personalities, etc. Wearing the same style moustache and the collared coat with the swastika sign on its arm, the MP closely resembled the German dictator. Interestingly, the MP also appeared as a magician,  Lord Ram, Narad Muni and Sathya Sai Baba on previous days. With a confident face, he is amplifying the protests for special category status to the state.

This actor-turned-politician has been stressing on the central government to remember its earlier (but now forgotten) promise of granting a special status to Andhra Pradesh. The NDA government’s lack of falling in line with its promise has definitely compelled him to go to that farthest extent.

Whether it is diversity in his semblance or the govt’s inability in granting a special status, his ‘Hitler’ face was amply portrayed on the small screen and in the news. Somehow, it also exposed those trying to give the impression of the good governance in the Parliament; the BJP was not living up to its promise made in the year 2014.
