Earlier this year, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited India, and it’s time to reflect on this visit!
Netanyahu was in India for six-day-tour. Israel, a pro-active military entity, is an outpost of US imperialism in the Middle East and is infamous for its atrocities on neighbouring country Palestine.
PM of India broke the protocol and went to Airport to receive him! The corporate media went gaga to show this visit as something extraordinary.
There are many reasons for this visit to be extraordinary. Indian ruling class is brokering the American imperialist block to have its base in Indian Subcontinent. This naturally brings large commission to the ruling party as well as an opportunity for the ruling class, the big capitalists and financiers to increase its market sphere, even outside of India, and high-profit rate. Rafale Deal is one of such examples.
Second is “encircling” Chinese imperialist, which is the second most powerful economy after the US.
Third is the fascism and its base in India itself. Fascism has risen on the very failure of liberalism, which was destined to fail. It thrives on gigantic promises to the people, rhetoric, and jingoism regarding unemployment and corruption.
Fascism is a “social movement”, and has a section of the working class itself with it in the hope of a Hindu Rashtra, and ultimately India becoming a world leader. Personality cult, PM Modi, is the torchbearer of this movement. He has gained popularity by promising to restore India’s “glorious” past, culture, crush its adversaries Pakistan & China, save the people from the imaginary threat from the Muslims, and of course bringing happiness to all (Achche Din)!
India and Israel’s alliance gives “morale boost” to the social base of fascism!
Finally, the intelligence agencies like Israel’s Mossad, US’ CIA and other EU agencies have hands in gloves association and have already incorporated Indian intelligence outfits, top police officials, and political leaders. Their sole aim is to keep sharp eyes on the resistance of the people, especially in India, and take proactive actions against it and capture the world market in the Indian continent as much as possible.
It must also be remembered that the relationship with Israel was not cold during Congress regime either, though not overtly. It started surfacing in the previous NDA government and then in next UPA-I. Now its open and any myth of India being “Non-aligned” is burst.
This unholy, criminal, and imperialist alliance must be opposed at all levels as this is a strengthening base for exploitation and oppression of vulnerable sections of the underdeveloped nations.
