With Opposition Growing In Confidence, Modi-Shah Campaign Stares At A Bleak Future

Senior shenanigans of the BJP, such as Rajnath Singh and Narendra Modi himself, are mocking themselves in the run-up to 2019 General elections. Joint opposition endeavours have begun to counter the political strategy of the ruling party.

The other day, while addressing party’s national executive meeting in New Delhi, PM Modi tried to make a pitch for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by coining a new slogan, “Ajay Bharat, Atal BJP”.

Will the new wordplay with allusion to the departed leader and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee redeem the lost face of the BJP?

It is, however, looking like a very dark and cold weather for Modi-Shah campaign.

The opposition parties like Samajwadi Party, Bahujan Samaj Party, Indian National Congress, Rashtriya Janta Dal, and several other regional parties are brimming with supreme confidence and hope.

With sparkling and charismatic faces like Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Tejashwi Yadav, Rahul Gandhi, and a galaxy of promising leaders there has never been lack of leadership and strategy in the anti-BJP conglomeration.

However, media is once again trying to spin the public opinion around Modi by using hashtags like ‘#ModiRokoAbhiyan unites the opposition spectrum’. On the contrary, it is #BJPRokoAbhiyan which brings the people and their genuine representatives together for the victory push.

People are convinced that Modi is working for BJP, not India. He and his acolytes and lackeys have failed the country.

The BJP’s commitment has been to a handful of crony capitalists by destroying small businesses and democratic institutions. The party is constantly effing on hydras of its parent organisation to speak and burn the Constitution. Dalit, OBC, Muslim Pasmanda have been consistently vilified, deprived of jobs and equal opportunities, and treated like Others.

Moreover, upper caste youths who belong to lower middle class have been brainwashed to hate Dalits and non-Hindus. The atmosphere of caste hostility has been created and nurtured by the BJP, as former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh had stressed upon in many public talks.
