“India produces almost five crore ball pens and two crore pencils every day”, says Saurabh and explains how his enterprise BioQ is also making stationery items, but by replacing plastic with biodegradable material.
He studied Electronic engineering, and as a part of India Fellow Program, he worked on clean energy solutions in Bihar as well as on livelihood initiatives in Rajasthan. A few years later, when staying away from home was becoming difficult, Saurabh came back to manage his family business and gave it a new face.
