The #MeToo movement is a well know and ongoing protest by women against sexual predators. In India, the movement unfolded various times, first with the sexual harassment stories in the academia where students who have faced assault and abuse came out and spoke against their abusers. But from Friday, October 5, the movement took a new turn where women journalists came out and spoke about the sexual predators in media.
Health reporter of The Wire, Anoo Bhuyan tweeted against a Mayank Jain, a journalist from Business Standard, and alleged him as a sexual predator.
