Why Financial Self-Dependence Should Be A Priority

After graduation, many students work toward their goals while others keep thinking for some more time. There are various needs of students depending on their interests, aptitudes and of course situations.

After 18 years of age, an individual wants his parents and friends to understand and support her/ him. At the same time, the individual wants to explore the world, put her/ his own thoughts in front of the world as well as enjoy and live life in one’s own desired way.

The desired life or any kind of life for that matter, practically, needs money. Survival is the most important thing for one to do anything, from exploring the world to expressing oneself.

Though we luckily have our loving parents or our other well-wishers who fund our academics, what takes real guts is being responsible for our dreams, even financially!

Being self-sufficient is one of the strongest traits in every aspect. If our dreams are our own then why not let them be fulfilled almost totally by ourselves, after all we have waited for so long to be self-dependent and what else would make us and our parents more proud?!

It’s a perfectly great thing to know what you want from life and having a plan ready from graduation to doctorate. But if you already have scattered and unclear dreams, then my friend, a job requiring exactly your qualification is what may help and if it doesn’t, you can anytime back-out and see for yourself what else works! Of course, you should never give up on your dreams, rather work for them while still having a job to pay for your survival.

Life is not to be forced towards greatness on others’ parameters, sometimes a little ‘going with the flow’ and a little ‘uniqueness’ can make your own but still the best story.
