Party Man Discards Shoes For 15 Years To See Congress’ Rule In MP

There are people doing something important somewhere all the time. One can always be in the presence of other people. At least Rahul Gandhi is not hopeless in the political domain. He is as much optimistic as a cricketer on the cricket ground. When Indira Gandhi felt rejection by her political defeats, it was his trusted politician Kamla Pati Tripathi who organised havan for her political success. His endeavour brought the desired effectual change in her political life.

Going back in the year 2003 we find how the party’s Madhya Pradesh Congress Chief Digvijay Singh had vowed not to contest the assembly elections or not to interfere in the state politics for a period of complete ten years. One common party worker Durga Lal Kirar also pledged at the same time not to wear his shoes until the Congress party returns to the power there.

The party worker’s temporal ordeal was even no less tough than Lord Rama’s exile for 14 years. It was rather surprising that it took the party worker one-and-a-half decade to put on the shoes. Walking barefoot was no ordinary task. Once a poor woman told that she followed a vow for her son’s recovery from a chronic ailment and she avoided wearing a slipper for several years. She achieved her wish thus.

Like that poor soul’s deep obligation, the party worker also has shown that kind of grit and dedication. He discarded wearing shoes for absolutely a period of 180 months. It was no less significant for him than the American man’s feat of going to Moon. Not only was he remained in a point of transition where he seldom thought of changing his loyalty. He was also not deterred by the escalating hardships for what his party was destined to face. Well, he certainly did not change from his stiff conviction.

Sachin Pilot also vowed not to put the traditional turban on his head until the party wins the assembly polls. Kamal Nath assumed the post of Chief Minister in the state after a gap of fifteen long years in Madhya Pradesh but was two seats shy of a simple majority. Showing his gratitude, he made the devoted party worker wear shoes at the residence. He saluted the worker for his complete commitment.
