Why Dr. Sinchan Das Is My Personal Hero

In this world of worry and disharmony, we always need some hint of peace in our lives to survive, something which can tune our out-of-tune present with its positive qualities. Every time we find ourselves in trouble, we seek out a life-changer, spontaneously. In these times, we need motivation, inspiration, positivity, and peace; we seek a way out from the dark.

That ‘tuner’ of these absolutely disturbed times, is Dr. Sinchan Das, who has established himself as a multifaceted genius. He compelled us to think, to perceive, and to react in an unbiased way. His simplicity and down-to-earth nature defines him perfectly. In the way he speaks, his explanations are sufficient enough to compel one to think, and all of it is obviously enveloped by simplicity.

Every time you hear his voice, it evokes peace and nostalgia about good times past, over and over again. Every time you sit through his lectures, you experience a strong hunger for knowledge, and the need to question things. It compels one to think independently. Every time you listen to his music, you feel a certain magnetism. This feeling isn’t directed at a person, nor to a place, but to the sensation of peace and purity. Das has inspired an entire generation, rather several generations, to traverse and explore the infinite possibilities of the universe. He taught us what ‘wanderlust’ truly means. Our generation has limited our wanderlust to Tinder and Instagram. But the true essence of it is about understanding your inner self, an idea which has gotten lost in the millions of photos flooding our feeds with #wanderlust.

Das has given us what is called true education, taught us how to live a quality life, and how to understand our social responsibilities! He taught the mass what is called teacher, the duties, appearance, behavior and duties of a teacher. He motivates his students to think independently, to react spontaneously, and to keep asking questions until they are satisfied with the answers. He is not just a teacher for his students, he is much more than that; he is everything for them. He is that person who smiles when seeing other smiling faces, who is born to wipe the tear of others. His every word provokes a strong motivating impulse within the students.

Every time I have felt alone, his voice has given me strength to go on: “Rey Bawri, tore bin hum adhure.” But, truth be told, without this person, today’s world is truly ‘adhure’. Whenever I feel depressed, his ‘Tantrikari’ is there to cheer up me, and I have witnessed how his tune works for the paralysed person as well. Simplicity is the key to his success.

Did you ever see or hear something which made you cry? Perhaps you do not even know why you are crying; you just sit there, speechless, trying to make sense of the world. That is what this man has done to help an entire generation think more deeply about things.
