Transport is lifeblood or lifeline of any economy. We can’t imagine our today’s life without transport. Transport is a part of our daily life. If we want to travel one place to another place public transport is essential for all of us. We all go daily office, school, college from the way of public transport like bus, metro,taxi, train etc. We all know that time is money, by the use of public transport we can reach anywhere on time. It also saves money and it increase healthier habits. It also reduce air pollution. But do you really think that public transport is safe for all of us. Ladies and girs really safe in the public transport. Old passenger and children’s really safe in the buses. Their are many incidents daily happen daily in buses, metro,train like pick pocketing, flirting and inbehaviour with ladies and girls. One day I was coming from my college with my friends from bus. There was very rush in the bus. Suddenly bus stop at the bus stand to pickup the passengers. Some pickpocketers also come in the bus, one of the boy of the gang pick the pocket of one of passenger in the bus, when passenger try to react ,boy of the gang thretend the passenger by the blade and escape on the next station. This is also very big issue in daily use of transport. There are many examples in daily life in public transport like flirting and inbehaviour with girls and ladies and inbehaviour with old people’s etc. But in nowdays our government take steps to improve this situation, they issued the directions ensure the GPS devices are installed in all public transport. They decided to start the GPS syestem in autos and grahmin sewa vehicles. Government also reserve separate seats for ladies, girls and old people in the buses , metro and trains. CCTV also installed in the buses and metro for security for passengers. Even government taking strict actions but these incidents not going to stop. We daily read these types of news (like inbehaviour with ladies and girls and inbehaviour with old people’s and rape news in buses etc) in the newspaper, and also watch these news in the television. The government should take strict actions to improve these situations. Because if people feel safe in the public transport,they reach on their destination on time and safe. This is very big achivement of any government, if thier citizens feeling safe in public transport and anywhere. (Feel safe and use public transport) (Vipin vajpai)
