In a New Year address to the party workers, former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav has warned people about the dangerous designs of the ruling party.
Addressing a capacity crowd of workers, leaders, women, students and youths who had assembled at Samajwadi Party headquarters in Lucknow on Wednesday morning from different districts of Uttar Pradesh, Yadav said, “The country will not only feel relieved with the change of guard in Centre but also immense pleasure.
The BJP is not hesitating even an inch in misuse of power. Injustice and corruption are rampant in the BJP rule. The rule of law has vanished from the entire state. The RSS is busy in sowing the seed of hate. In the present BJP rule, graft cases are prevailing at all levels. As a consequence, people are reeling under heavy pressure and difficulty. Mounting corruption cases have ravaged the lives of common man.”
The popular socialist leader further added that the corruption of the BJP has made the life of people extremely miserable. On account of the misdeeds of this government and its destructive policies, the future of youths has become darker. The administrative machinery deep in the throes of corruption appears to have been paralyzed. As a result, maintenance of law and order has hit rock bottom. There is no guarantee for the safety and security of people.
“What is more worrisome is the prejudiced policy of the BJP government where people are being targeted on a large scale for their social and political thoughts which are at variance with the BJP-RSS. Besides, there is a sharp spurt in the killing of innocents across the state. Not to forget the cancer of casteism which is spreading thick and fast under the close watch of the BJP regime.
Caste discrimination is a social evil. Due to vile caste pyramid, social backwardness has become a glaring reality. Unfortunately, the BJP is exploiting the caste faultline to grind its political axe. The BJP can only spread venom in the name of caste and religion.
Beware of the BJP’s lies, rants and divisive programmes. Their ability to create dirt in society is unrivalled. They have gagged the media and are shamelessly exploiting the organs of mass communication, be it TV or Print, for unilateral propaganda.
There is no relief from a spate of violent incidents of injustice in the state.It is fair to say that the BJP has turned UP into a crime province. There is no chance of offering any jobs or creating employment. In the prevailing chaos and confusion, only the Samajwadi forces are concerned about the development and prosperity of Uttar Pradesh. Under no circumstances Socialist soldiers would allow the battle for social harmony and justice to weaken.
“Ahead of us are very crucial General Elections. In order to give right direction to the floundering democracy, Samajwadi Party is committed to fight against the growing atrocities on the people. We will defeat the demons of injustice”.
“The BJP is notorious for playing caste and communalism cards to win elections. It is fighting shy of enumerating the number of every caste and playing politics with the constitutional rights of the OBCs and SC-ST. We have been demanding enumeration of each caste’s strength in a fair census for equitable empowerment of everyone. However, biased notion of justice define the BJP. On the contrary, Socialists stand for justice and dignity to one and all.”
“Just as elections will draw near, the BJP will accelerate its conspiracy against the Samajwadi Party. In fact, targeted campaign against the SP had been a fulcrum of the BJP’s electoral strategy.”
“Nevertheless, Socialist workers will not deviate from the path of development. We are ready to face new challenges. No matter how much the BJP tries to harm us, we will foil each of their nefarious designs.”
Akhilesh’s popularity has reached the highest level whereas Yogi Adityanath’s stock has further plummeted in the public. Whereas BJP government is battling heavy deficiency in its public credibility, former UP CM has gained a tremendous ground in hearts of people.
A large number of workers echoed the public sentiments that charismatic socialist leader’s popularity is matchless. Akhilesh has acquired a reputation for being a deliverer of promises, not only a talker but a doer.
His development projects in the first tenure have become remarkable signposts of public nostalgia as people continue to miss him and swear by his compassionate politics and authority as the youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Actually, there is no alternative to Akhilesh. People have full faith in his ability and they are waiting to bring him back in the next elections.
