Practical Skills Elevate People, Not Theoretical Ones

In today’s era, everyone is talking about career in terms of job, money, and amenities. Amidst all these things, the most important thing that we are missing is learning.

We study in leading universities, colleges for getting education. But, are we getting real education?

My view is “No.”

In most of the academic institutions, we are just getting bookish knowledge, which does not teach someone about how to deal with problems, how to deal with people, how to remain confident, humble and practical.

All these aspects are way more than bookish knowledge. In a recent study, it has been found that people are more scared of public speaking than anything else. Thus, it proves that we are not getting real education and it’s not the fault of this young generation or of students. This is the problem of all academic institutions: they propagate theoretical knowledge not learning, which one needs at every point in life.

The day one decides: “we have to live to learn not learn to live” from that day onward, one can see growth in his/her journey. There are so many business tycoons who do not have any degrees and certificates, despite that, they are successful, which means that they learn from the things around them not from books.

Books are also important for basic knowledge but the things that life experiences can impart and you learn by your own : this is more than anything else. Let’s say anyone wants to learn swimming but swimming can’t be learned by bookish knowledge, by hiring any coach or by watching videos but deep down, it will learn by your own, when you dive in the water. In the same way, to learn about real things, we have to dive in the life out of the world of books. Without learning, degrees and certificates do not hold any value.

Only learning is the tool that holds value and upgrades you.

Remember folks, “Yes we can learn from life if we decide.”
