We live in a very strange society, where there are messed up expectations. I don’t understand why virginity is such a big thing here; men are expected to lose it, women are expected to keep it. I don’t understand why men who do not loose their virginity by a certain age are called ‘ less of a men’. If a man prefers to stay away from sexual relationships or casual sex etc., it’s his personal choice & isn’t anyone’s business. Why he is branded as bit of a loser & looked down upon by others? Why a man’s worth is related to his ability to score sexual partners? And when he is not interested in doing so, he is embarrassed & made fun of by everyone. Makes any sense?
Being a non-virgin or not doesn’t make anyone ‘more or less manly’. A man’s worth has nothing to do with the number of women he is sexually connected to. It’s a personal choice. So, stop shaming & judging. Don’t expect anyone to loose their virginity by a certain age or to keep it until a certain age. Let the individuals do what they want to do.
