What’s Up With The Real You?

Sit, be still and be silent, for you’re on the edge of the roof, about to have a look at the world with a different lens.

Mankind, today, is in deep crisis, in light of the threatening global crisis in our planet, in the threshold of the third millennium. The question arises ‘What now?.’ The limits of growth have been long reached, the belief in unlimited scientific and social progress has been fundamentally shattered. The time has come for an inherent revolution in the psyche of human beings. It’s basically a global suicide. Man needs a new view of psychology to understand himself, our reality lies beyond all those theories and categories. Masculinity and femininity aren’t exactly limited to the physical sexes assigned at birth. In fact, this is one of the greatest insights ever attained!

On a sketchier note, the archetypal concepts are used to help us recognize our particular mindsets and then move beyond the mind’s limitations and confinement, to go beyond the personality and discover oneself! Basically, the liberation of man has not happened yet. Liberation from the past, from the slavery of life-negating values and social conditioning which have been imposed upon mankind, have over a period of time, alienated humans from themselves.

A thought that played in my mind one fine day was that since the very beginning, we’ve been conditioned to function and survive in this efficiency-oriented, competitive world and we join the ambitious struggle and race for money, success, fame, power, respect, and social status and yearn for the grass that’s greener on the other side of the fence. What’s the reason for our existence? What’s the purpose of our living? We sacrifice ourselves for the lines drawn on maps! Borders across nations, die for our religion and what not! We’re lost.

There’s a need to venture deep into your mind, to find the vision of the real soul within you. The way the individual is brought up by the society deadens his body and his senses, and makes him insensitive and dead. Contemplate over it, these thoughts are like an endless sea of grey! The more you dive in, its vastness will pull you down deeper.

An individual should be in search of himself or herself, of his/her original face and essential-self who is ready to drop all masks, all pretentions, all hypocrisies and to show to the world what his reality is. Whether he/she is loved or condemned, respected or mocked, honoured or dishonoured, crowned or crucified, it does not matter. Because to be yourself is the greatest blessing in existence. I believe in the science of the inner soul that exists in the subjective world and the next big change in the world should be enlightenment.

Wake up in front of the mobs and awaken yourself into a person of truth, a person of sincerity, an individual who knows love and compassion, and who understands that people are blind, unconscious, and spiritually asleep. On that note, I’ll fall silent and let you folks ponder over this take on the theory of life.
