Keep Hustling, You’re Bound To Conquer Your Dreams!

Everyone has goals in their life which they strive to achieve. But sometimes life throws us in an unexpected direction, and our life-goals take a back seat. As kids, whenever someone asked us what we wanted to grow up to become, or what our life goals were, we always somehow had an answer; some of us even had a proper road map to reach that goal.

Some kids follow that road map and achieve what they had dreamt of, some don’t; while there are others whose goals change as they reach adulthood. In any scenario, to fulfill our dreams, we need to take action. And to take action, we need motivation, which is very easy to lose when we have urgent bills to pay or have unfinished responsibilities.

But no matter what happens, you deserve a chance to focus on your goals. You need to motivate yourself to take action and move forward in the right direction. Goals are not only to achieve success; they are meant to make us happy, to be fit or even to regularise our lives more. Motivating oneself is not easy, but it’s not impossible either. The idea of this article is to share some quick tips through which you can motivate yourself to conquer your desires.

Break The Goal Into Small Attainable Steps

Goals are usually life-changing and require a lot of work. So much work merged with daily life routines can become stressful, and most people lose track of the direction. That is why it is important to make a plan and take small attainable steps at a time, which will help you keep going. Work towards achieving these small steps and reward yourself for every feat accomplished. Successfully managing these small steps will gradually help you reach the finishing line.

Create Motivational Posters

Words have a way of inspiring us, and it makes sense to surround ourselves with positive and motivational quotes and posters. Pick your favourite lines or write and print your dreams on a big poster. Stick them in your room or on any favourite corner. It will be a reminder to be steadfast and not give up.

Write Down Your Goal

Maintaining a journal about the goals you have set for yourself, that you wish to achieve in the long or short run is essential. It will help you to stay focussed, track your progress and stay motivated.

Also, write the reason behind the goals, like why you want to use the staircase every day- to stay fit, lose weight or so on. When you read these actions, ignoring taking action will become hard.

Visualize Your Happiness And Success

When things get tough, we often lose motivation. At such times, close your eyes and visualize your moment of success. The happiness and excitement you will feel by visualizing that will automatically motivate you to not give up and work towards your goals.

Minimise Distractions

We are surrounded by numerous things which can easily distract us. Thus, figure out what is distracting you from working towards what you want, and eliminate those distractions from your life, or at least reduce them. One of the biggest distractions is social media. It fills our head with insecurities when we see others achieving great height and success. Compare our success with them can be demotivating. So, cut down social media to some extent, reduce social meetings or anything that triggers your discomfort.

Face Your Excuses

We are all inherently great procrastinators or just hesitant to work towards our desires for the fear of failure. When this happens, correct yourself and stop making excuses. After a  few times, you will realize that you really have no excuses to make.

Listen To Inspirational Music Or Podcasts

When you feel down or demotivated, tune in to your favourite podcasts or songs. It will not only inspire you but make you feel more relaxed, focused and happy. Once you feel happy emotions,  seeking motivation becomes easier.

These were some of the tips that you can try next time you feel like you are lagging behind in your quest. Remember, everyone moves at a different pace, just because you haven’t achieved something yet, doesn’t mean you won’t ever. Keep hustling, and you’ll be closer to your dreams soon
