We all have come across the term feminist. Feminism is a range of political movements, ideologies, and social movements that share a common goal: to define, establish, and achieve political equality. The extreme form of feminism is the feminazi. Thanks to the social media and trolling, people are now offended by the use of the term feminazi when used upon them.
Let’s take an example to clear our views on the difference between the two concepts. Consider a situation in which we are in a hospital and there are four patients two men and women. They have two ORS solution which can be used by four of them but,
a. A feminist would say, “Let’s share it within four of us.”
b. A feminazi would say. “Let the men die we females should consume both the packets”
So, we are discussing equality and hate. A feminist demands equality but a feminazi plays the gender discrimination role. The problem lies in social media. People, without knowing the knowledge blame the women to be a feminazi. This term is being considered another word as an offense to women. Women have been regularly offended when they were called “bitch” and “sluts”. Now, feminazi, on the other hand, if used on the wrong person, can be considered as inappropriate.
Feminism is a moment that works for gender equality. But feminazi is just a phrase that associated women with the Nazis who killed many innocent people. Feminism and the Nazi era are completely different concepts. People do mix these concepts to offend and discourage people from fighting for their rights. If someone is using the concept of feminism for bad deeds then it may be considered as a feminazi. We all should be aware of the fact what is feminism and what is a feminazi.
