Bheed: The Unknown Killers is a tale of violence and injustice, and highlights the fickle-mindedness of the people undertaking pseudo political worship in a post-modern society. Killing a person on the pretext of false allegations has never been this easy. Just accuse someone of eating or selling beef and people will blindly follow you. Don’t believe me? Pankaj is one such vigilante of the Saffron Brigade. One day, he goes to pick his sister from college. He is miffed with his sister’s attire and when he notices some people staring at her, he starts to quarrel. While driving, he rams his bike into Faisal’s bicycle. He stops and vents all his frustration on Faisal by beating him up.Vineeta feels bad for Faisal. She tries to stop Pankaj but to no avail. She later explains the situation to Roma and apologises to Faisal. Soon, they befriend each other. A few days later, Faisal and Vineeta are talking to each other at the bus stop when Pankaj spots them and starts to beat Faisal.
An otherwise quiet Faisal retaliates and slaps Pankaj. Pankaj is humiliated and promises to teach Faisal a lesson he would never forget. Pankaj plots to kill Faisal. He devices a heinous plan where he accuses Faisal of eating and selling beef. He visits Faisal’s house with his goon friends at night and they blame him for beef smuggling. A frenzied crowd soon joins them and assaults Faisal to death. After successfully murdering Faisal, Pankaj goes to a local bar and celebrates with his friends.
The very next day, Pankaj’s father has to take his cow out for a medical check-up. As he is on his way to the clinic, a boy almost runs his car into him. They have a heated argument. The boy, sensing he would be beaten up by the crowd, starts to yell and accuse the old man of smuggling a cow. The crowd buys the argument. Soon, the gau rakshaks enter into the fray and starts to beat Pankaj’s father. As Pankaj is returning from his friend’s place, he is informed of the cow smuggler and he too joins the crowd. He hits the smuggler with an iron rod and realizes it was his own father.
