Family violence make my crush to take strong decision!

In a world where even ordinary stress on the job or at school can seem battering at times, and outside influences are in constant flux, home, hearth and family are expected to remain steady—a serene and sheltering haven. Home, they say, is where the heart is.
Unfortunately for many, home can be anything but a safe haven. Men and women alike may find their home a fierce battleground. For children it may be where they are most vulnerable to assault, misuse or deprivation, ironically at the very hands of those who have a duty to safeguard and nourish them. Even the elderly may have reason to fear those who should be their caretakers.

“Family violence is not a new phenomenon—it has probably existed since the beginning of time. Only in modern times, however, have societies begun to recognize violence against family members as a social problem.”

Here is a story of someone who was trapped in the hell house.
Just past summer, 8 August, my friend (reenu) and i had attended a wedding of our relative. We were just sitting together on the chairs. During our gossip, All of surden she told ” these vows are just formalities that husband takes”.
I was like, “what?????”
She, “Yes, this is truth. I’m not telling about everyone, not everyone is same.”
I have no idea what are you talking about and why?
She, ” is women a toy?”
“No but why are you talking about this, what happened?” I asked her.
She, ” there was my best friend named Aisha who became prey of domestic violence.”
“Is this that girl who was studying with you?” i asked her.
Yes, she replied with gloomy face.
Is every time okay with her? I asked.
“She is no more….” Reenu sobbed.
There was tears in Reenu’s eyes. I offered my hanker chief to her inorder to wipe her tears.
What happened to her? I asked to Reenu.
She naratted her friends ordeal ” she was married with a man named Suheel who was a govt employee and he was running a shop of paints and tiles. He was well settled with a luxury car. My friend Aisha was happy to see herself marrying with Suheel. Before their wedding Suheel was behaving like a gentleman but everything changed when he hit Aisha with a bamboo stick for the first time.
She was telling me about all her problems, one day Aisha had left her house and she told me ” there is no one in my life with whom I can share my pain except you, you are my only resort”, tears rolled down from Reenu’s eyes.
I offered her a glass of water and drag my hand towards her hand inorder to make her calm. Her tears tore apart my heart.

Aisha for many times tried to attempt sucide because he was beating her pitylessly. Her husband was drug addicted everytime wheather Aisha works or not he was beating her sometimes with steel rod or something which comes in his hand. He had restricted her to meet with anyone and one day he had olso broken her mobile phone. My friend Aisha was more like a caged animal. Several times she tried to take divorce but all her attempts goes in vain as Everytime when he had came to know he beated her…..
Reenu gasped, ” i remember that one day when Aisha told me ‘ i am a slave in his love and i would follow his every command’.
She was helpless, her parents were both dead. There was no one in her life. One day when she had tried to escape from her evil husband’s house. He burnt her alive. And later it was told that it was an accident.
Reenu, “from that day i am not believing in love, it is the most misused word in the world. Firstly you love someone and in return he will only give you hate. And i will never marry till my last breath.
As i was going to propose Reenu, but with hearing ordeal from her mouth and the effect on Reenu from this ordeal made me to take a step back from proposing her.
