Gurgaon Is The Most Polluted City In The World

Recently, the city of Gurgaon in Haryana, India was announced as the most polluted city in the world according to the data released by Airvisual and Greenpeace. Seven out of 10 most polluted cities are from India alone.

In Gurgaon, the average Particulate Matter (PM2.5) for the year 2018 is 135.8 and in Ghaziabad as 135.2. Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, Noida, Patna, Lucknow and Bhiwadi are the most polluted cities from India among the top 10 most polluted cities in the world, 2019.

According to AQI India, the average AQI value of Gurgaon for the last 30 days, March 2019 is 169 ug/m3, min-45 ug/m3 and max-369 ug/m3.

According to the AQI value of Gurgaon in March 2019 from AQI India dashboard, the air quality in Gurgaon was very poor. India needs to be developed and changed in terms of different aspects. Air pollution has to be one of the most important priorities that India has to take care of. It’s going to be worse after a few years if the corrective measures are not taken up to reduce air pollution in India.
