Every five years, during the Lok Sabha Elections, we are forced to compromise on our electoral power by having to choose between a range of undesirable candidates fielded by corrupt and incompetent political parties. If not this candidate, then who? We all know that we wish we had a better set of options to choose from.
That is exactly the reason why NOTA needs to be empowered. NOTA needs to be a tool to shame the ones who promise to serve us, but don’t.
