People Who Serve Happiness Still Exist

I have seen many phases in life. Once, I used to believe and see that this world progresses with love. Perhaps, that time has passed. Many years later, I am an adult now, and love has no place left in this cruel world. Hate is the new conductor here. People are fighting everywhere. Men are fighting women! Good is fighting bad! Rich are fighting poor! Racist, fascist, sexist… everyone is involved in this game, which has turned into the face of hate. Most of the people are fighting over religion, to save their God. This includes every religion. The caste system is still alive because people have a feeling of priority and inferiority. The situation is worsening to the extent that anti-Romeo squad is roaming to catch lovers. Here, in the world when hatred is reaching the pinnacle, there are few people left on earth from whom we can learn love, sacrifice and devotion. An incident that occurred today, justifies the same.

I was in a rickshaw with my mother. On the way some people came and stopped us. Cursing the current scenario! The first thought that came to our mind was that these are vandals. This thought arose because those people were wearing a turban on their head and we were covered in black. Both, representing our own communities! The rickshaw wala didn’t care and kept moving on. The people again stopped us. This time they had ‘sharbat’ in their hands. “Our Guru has taught us to serve people of all communities. He has taught us love and sacrifice for others. We’re serving this to everyone, please have a little.” These were the words of the man in a turban. I felt content and satisfied without even having the sharbat.

Maybe, this world is not that bad. People who serve happiness are still alive.
