Shafqat Shaheen bring laurels to Kishtwar, Bagged prestigious India Star Youth Icon Award 2019
Jammu 17 Apr…..The world book of India Star records proudly presented “India Star Icon Award 2019 New Delhi” to Shafqat Ali Sheikh @ Shafqat Shaheen Sheikh for his outstanding performance in Journalism and Social Work. 
Shafqat’s name is among all those winner across the globe who bagged this prestigious award in different professions across the India. The award was presented to Shafqat via courier due to imposition of curfew in Kishtwar as the awardee was not in position to attend the ceremony.
Shafqat Shaheen who hails from remote region Bunjwah of Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir is active in Freelancer in “Journalism and Social Activisim” from last four years and had raised the issues of voiceless and downtrodden masses through print electronic and social media as Freelancer.
Shafqat Shaheen is having membership in National and International Organization for his outstanding performance and work of humanity .
Shafqat is one of active member in All Indian Reporters Association , World Aid Organization for Human Rights , Global Peace Foundation , Khidmat Foundation Jammu and Kashmir and other organisations that stands for cause of downtrodden masses.
It is important to mention that Shafqat recently bagged best Journalist award of the year 2018 from French Club Jammu that the grand felicitation programme was held at Press Club Jammu .
