Who Am I Going To Vote For?

North East parliamentary constituency of Delhi has the following assembly constituencies:

My voter id card says that I belong to Mustafabad. In 2014, general elections, my vote went to BJP because my father told me “BJP” would be the right party for us. In 2015 Delhi assembly elections, I voted for AAP, because I was disillusioned by the politics of BJP.

Honestly speaking, I didn’t know the names of political representatives. I can say that I was going through a health scare at that time, so voting or no voting didn’t matter. I was more troubled about my self than a politician who was “anyway going to do nothing.”

As I google now, five years later. People voted in power were Jagdish Pradhan (BJP) in Feb 2015 and Manoj Tiwari (BJP) in May 2014 for Mustafabad Delhi assembly constituency and northeast parliamentary constituency of Delhi respectively.

On 12th May 2019, I want to vote for a right candidate for my parliamentary constituency because the northeast district of Delhi is the poorest of its seven divisions. For some south Delhi elites, this region does not even belong to Delhi. And a right candidate can really do wonders or just basic stuff the people of this area are looking for.

So I try to find the candidates who are standing for this election. But look at the image below, on Wikipedia.

I do not want to vote for a political party. My primary argument in my previous article was that we should not vote for a political party. I am waiting for this list to “complete” so that I can decide whom I want to vote. For now, NOTA is the chosen option for me. I guess voting is not enough. Finding an answer to the question whom are you going to vote for, seems to be far more important.
