Amit Shah Blames TMC For West Bengal Violence

BJP National President Amit Shah

If not for CRPF cover, I wouldn’t have come back alive,” BJP chief Amit Shah has given this statement recently during a press conference. He thanked CRPF for saving his life from alleged TMC workers. In West Bengal, politics has reached at its dirtiest point, where two big parties seem to have compromised on their morality. Violence erupted in West Bengal on Tuesday when TMC workers attacked Amit Shah’s rally. BJP president Amit Shah, who was leading this caravan also got attacked.

According to the sources after the TMC workers attacked the rally, BJP workers also started pelting stones and got involved in violence. Police had to resort to lathi charge to control the situation. TMC and BJP both were involved in vandalism which happened at Vidyasagar College. In this violence Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar’s statue has been broken.

West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee

These parties are not just responsible for violence in West Bengal, but they are also guilty of strangulating the democracy. Now both parties are currently waging a verbal war. Mamata Banerjee, Chief Minister of West Bengal seems to have diminished the respect for her chair, calling Shah a “bahar wala”. She also called him a goon. Does she intend to diffuse regionalism in India? Let’s get back to Amit Shah’s press conference where he alleged TMC for the deadly attack on him. Is it possible that the president of a ruling party of India could be assassinated by ruling party of a state?

We can’t deny that 17th Lok Sabha will be remembered for many reasons. One of them will be the violence during voting in West Bengal. Every phase of election Mamata didi’s state suffers due to violence. Is this violence happening on instigation of TMC or some chaotic elements involved in this cabal? Many questions remain. But who will be the target of this dirty politics? Definitely the crowd who stands in long queues to vote.
