Shahid Kapoor is all set for the release of his film Kabir Singh, a remake of the Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy. It is not a typical love story.
In the original movie, Vijay Devarakonda played the role of Arjun who is shown as an intense but alcoholic medical surgeon who sets out on the path of self-destruction when his lady love is forced to marry another man. A huge chunk of the credit goes to Vijay Devarakonda, who lived his character.
After the announcement of the Hindi remake, many were convinced that no one other than Vijay would be able to pull it off. But, after the release of the trailer, expectations have only been rising. Shahid Kapoor looks great and the track Bekhayali track is breathtaking. The biggest plus point is that the director of the original is at the helm of the Hindi remake as well.
