#Menstruation

Menstruation, everyone knows about it but do everyone really knows about it? Why it is still a taboo in many countries? Why people don’t understand or what I should say don’t want to understand? In many countries, a large group of girls still don’t have access to sanitary products because of which many girls suffer from severe disease. One reason which I feel for not having access to sanitary napkins is the price issue. Nowadays the pads are costly that many girls don’t want to use it. Ya, I know that cheaper pads are also available but here the thing is that pads also have different sizes from s to xl for different flow days. Price increases gradually according to the size. The government should really look into the price of the sanitary napkins. Another reason which I feel that people are unaware of #menstrualhygiene or #menstruation is because of our education system. Education plays a vital role in this. Generally, in schools, we are only taught about biological aspects of menstruation and not more than that. I feel there is a lot to know about menstruation. Menstrual management is an important factor that every people should know. There are sanitary napkins, tampons, menstrual cups, reusable sanitary pad. Chemist shops only know about the pad. Only a few amounts of chemist shop knows about other products like tampons or menstrual cups.

Understand what menstruation is, understand what menstrual hygiene is. It is not a TABOO. Don’t feel ashamed of it. It is #NATURAL.
