Article 19 (1) is about the protection of our right to speech and expression, movement and residence, choice of profession, and to assemble and unionize. But of all these, the most evocative is the right to speech. It is perhaps also the most basic – like breathing. You breathe, you speak!
And almost as basic as speaking, is the right to expressing ourselves in various ways. The film focuses on this aspect – our right to speech and expression in its many creative forms, and how integral this freedom is to young people in India.
