The Managing Director of Ryan International School, Madam Grace Pinto, has carried the baton of upskilling the girl child ever since the inception of Ryan International Group of Institutions back in 1976. Being a woman herself, Madam Pinto understands the value of imparting skills like leadership, critical thinking, technological literacy, and effective communication in making female students future-ready.

Directed by her vision, the Ryan International School has given wings to the dreams of numerous girl students. The school has produced several notable alumni, including actresses Avika Gor, who rose to fame with the television show, Balika Vadhu, and Sanya Malhotra, who tasted success on the silver screen with Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal.

The Ryan International Group of Institutions has also produced budding sports athletes like tennis player Karman Kaur Thandi and badminton player Simran Singhi, celebrity stand-up comedian Saloni Daini, actresses Digangana Suryavanshi and Navika Kotia, and so on.

Recently, Captain Aarohi Pandit, a Ryan alumnus, made headlines for becoming the first woman in the world to cross the Atlantic Ocean in a Light Sports Aircraft (LSA).

Ryan International’s streak of producing successful female students doesn’t end here. Renowned child actress Ashnoor Kaur, who studies at Ryan International School Kandivali, garnered much praise and respect for securing a magnificent 92.60% in her class 10 boards, all while starring in prime time daily soap titled Patiala Babes.

Kaur attributed her success to the nurturing environment she received at Ryan International School. “I always wanted to score above 90%, and today, my dream is fulfilled. It is due to my hard work and constant support from my school that I am at this position today. My school has always given me continuous support to continue with my career as a child artist. Whenever I needed any help, my teachers were there to help me solve my doubts,” she said.

So, what makes Ryan International an ideal school for girls who have excelled in their respective fields? The answer lies within the exceptional management and guidance provided by the MD, Madam Grace Pinto.“Our aim was to foster holistic education with a focus on all-round development and therefore, we integrated a range of extra-curricular activities and life skills programs to develop their innate talents.” she shares.

The institution lays emphasis on building leadership skills among its girl students, not only through the optional courses being taught but also through various co-curricular activities such as workshops and seminars led by several women of substance. The school also works towards making the girl students self-reliant and independent through classes on self-defence.

With ‘talent breeding talent’, Madam Grace Pinto has made giant strides over the years to promote “girl power” at Ryan International School.
