Why I Don’t Believe Language Is The Most Important Means Of Communication

We have always read about our stone-age ancestors and learnt very little from them growing up. But looking at minor details in their lifestyle, it shares so many key things from their evolving-civilized life. We have read and heard about how they could not communicate in a common language, so they would talk pictorially with each other, leaving notes on the walls for the people coming to their shelter. Good Lord, if we were to do the same today, Asian Paints would have earned a lot of money.

Even if we have numerous languages to communicate in, we use “English” as the only medium to share our thoughts and if one doesn’t know it, the person is treated inferior or is given a “language-deficient” tag.

Do you ever imagine/dream in English? If you do, I have no problems, but if you don’t, just imagine the world we are living in! The creative mind doesn’t need a language of its own- it can be any regional language or a stone-age scribble also, imagination truly has no limits!

So, don’t be ashamed to not know or be unable to speak a language fluently, all that matters is your imagination about the things you want to create. Your mind is the biggest processor, more capable than a supercomputer, I’m not even kidding. Humans created it, so be it. The person expecting you to think in the common prevalent language can’t ever have the same imagination as your regional mind does.

So, stop cribbing about not knowing a language, start working on expanding your horizon and imagination across galaxies and, remember, if the other person is not able to understand your regional language, he/she has the “language-deficiency” syndrome, not you.

Imagination gives life to your thoughts and that’s all that’s needed.
