In a world where creation is appreciated but seldom attempted, India Film Project aims to enable upcoming creators and celebrate pro-creators and their creations across films, digital, literature, and music.
The 50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge is IFP’s flagship challenge where filmmakers take up a challenge to script, shoot, edit and upload a film in 50 hours. Every year, over 30,000+ filmmakers from 300+ cities, and 18+ countries come together over the assigned weekend with a strict constraint of 50 hours timeline; making IFP the largest creative collaboration on the planet.
This year, the stakes are high! Winning films will be theatrically released in PVR Cinemas across India. Winners will also get goodies worth ₹12 lacs from GoPro (action camera), Aputure (professional lights), Diety (audio gear) and Nikon.
The jury for the challenge includes some of the most prominent directors from the Indian film industry – Abhishek Chaubey, Anjali Menon, Pardeep Sarkar and Pan Nalin.
The challenge is going to be held from 8 PM on September 27 to 10 PM on September 29. Know more about the 50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge and how to participate, here. Deadline: 26 September, 2019
Apart from our flagship 50 Hour Filmmaking Challenge, we also have Scriptwriting, Storytelling, and Poster Design Challenge to enable writers, storytellers, and designers respectively. These challenges aren’t time-bound, hence giving creators more time to come up with good content before the deadline.
