Beyond The ‘Everyday’

The youngsters of today are living through difficult times.

Yes, these are times when everyday life, due to the emergence of the internet, is undoubtedly easier and better for them (compared to their previous generations). But the flip side is that our social health and political climate aren’t very good. And it is important to remember that the situation impacts those among the young who are concerned about society.

Today, there is an ongoing conflict between everyday life and life beyond the ‘everyday’. It may be very difficult for any political ideology, manifested in its present form, to resolve the impacts on youngsters. Are organisations and/or individuals working towards a resolution? Who knows? Do they consider it important enough? Again, who knows?

Well, if this isn’t important, then why am I wasting your time by making you read all of this? And if it is important, then can any kind of deadline be fixed, to resolve these conflicts, under some sort of five-year plan? If not, then the gap between everyday life, and life beyond the’everyday’, will have to be closed through mutual understanding.

Everyday life will have to be re-imagined from a newer standpoint. Life beyond the ‘every day’ will have to absorb some bits of everyday existence into itself. This also leads me to an important question. Can the everyday and the beyond ever be separate from each other?
