A new concept has been created for the first time in West Bengal namely “My Canvas Talk”, a platform where experts from various areas deliver their talk to inspire the youth of the nation. “My Canvas Talk” is a YouTube channel launched by Amar Group of Companies owned by Mr Rahul Basak, an Alumnus B.Tech IT Batch 2013-17, Heritage Institute of Technology (HITK) along with his partner Mr Amit Das.
The first series of “My Canvas Talk” started from the HITK Campus on September 29, 2019, which was addressed by various experts from different professions. The talk series witnessed the presence of RJ Roy (Former Radio Jockey at 94.3 Radio One), Ranodeep Saha, a young entrepreneur and a TEDx speaker, Satrajit Sen, Film Director, National Award winner and content producer, Saayoni Ghosh, a budding bengali actress, Adil Rashid, a lead guitarist of UnderGround Authority, Swaralipi Chatterjee, Actress, entrepreneur and owner of Abar Baithak Cafe, Saikat Sarkar, Founder of Manus Mela and CEO, 6th Vedas, Pritam Das, independent Singer, Saptaswa Basu, Indian Film Director and Founder of NEO studios and Monisha Pailan, social activist and acid attack survivor.
“This is a platform to listen to the inspirational stories from real people,” said Mr Basak. The talk series will be ready to view after the Puja and the second series will be ready for the final shoot in January 2020. The appreciation memento to the authorities of HITK for giving Rahul, their alumnus a platform for the shoot yesterday at HITK campus was received by Mr. Partha Sarathi Bhowal, PRO, HITK.
