India, despite being a thriving democracy and a developing nation, still lacks planned cities, and basic facilities like electricity, water drainage, cleanliness and hygiene, proper education, health facilities, public transportation etc.
The reason for all these shortcomings is that there are not enough revenues and corruption at various levels has deprived citizens of the benefits bestowed by the government.
Every day we hear about various scams and all the figures are in billions of dollars, while millions in our country sleep without food or proper shelter. The irony is that already privileged earn billions while the deserving and qualified are trapped in EMIs and taxes.
This needs to be stopped!
But the main problem is, there are no competent people to lead us, represent us or govern us. In India, “Gali ka Gundas” (goons) become karyakartas (party workers), and then go on to become local leaders, who eventually contest elections!
These people have been convicted in criminal cases; they run businesses and hoard black money and have set up fully effective networks of corruption. We also have well-educated diplomats and bureaucrats but they, too, seem to have failed us, whatever may be the reasons. All of these people are already worth crores but still go on filling their coffers with a hefty salary and various concessions from taxpayers’ money.
What can we expect from such lobbies that own both the law of the land and the government?
Let us look at a few possible solutions:
This is the definition of Ramrajya or Asgard for me! Although all the points seem impossible, the first four points are immediately required. Only then can we achieve our full potential and become the superpower which Sir A.P.J Abdul Kalam dreamt of, and set an ideal example for the world!
Now that you have read about the solution, I have created a petition addressed to the concerned authorities for the same. Please sign this petition. Share and support if you agree.
