Perhaps It Is Time Humans Went Back To Living In The Forests

There was a time when the whole world was a forestland. When a home is built, that much forest is destroyed—depriving animals of their food. Human population is increasing year by year. There is a constant need for new homes to be built. The day is not far when all the forests and agricultural land would be destroyed to build homes. How would we produce food then?

We should live in the open forest like animals and survive just like them. We have to find ways of survival without harming the environment. We are left with no choice, we have to stop building homes. If we keep on building them, then one day all the free land in the world would be turned into homes. When we build homes, we need so many things like mud, wood, cement, iron, etc. They have to be transported from one place to another. For transportation we need vehicles, and for vehicles to operate we need petrol, diesel etc. To get petrol we have to make oil rig platforms in the sea or land. For digging petrol machines have to be made. We need iron to make machines. We have to set up factories to make the machines. But if we don’t build homes and live in the open forest like animals, then we do not need any of the above. All of the above mentioned things create pollution. If we don’t use them, there will be no pollution.

In the past, when humans lived in open forest or caves, all the animals, birds had plenty to eat. When humans started building homes, trees were cut down and the birds and animals lost their natural habitat. Humans will be faced with the same situation if we keep on building homes. We have to understand that this is just not practicable.

At present we cook food. But if we are to live in forests, we have to find a way of eating raw food. If we lived in the open forest we won’t need utensils. If we still need some utensils then we should use only mud utensils.

If all of the earth’s land were to be forestland, with no roads, not even mud roads, then for transportation we would need horses, bullocks, elephants etc. If a person has to be taken to a hospital immediately then horses might not suffice. At that time we might turn to using small airplanes or helicopters that would fly us immediately.

If we were to live in the open forest, rainy season would be a problem for us. We may find shelter under the trees so that we won’t get wet but if we still get wet then we may have to use raincoats which should not be made from plastic as plastic is a pollutant. Living in the open seems very hard but we have to find a way somehow. Research should be conducted on this on a large scale. At present, we are researching life on other planets and finding out how to settle on the moon and on Mars, if that is possible we would one day end up polluting the moon as well as Mars, and then, we would have to go find some other planet. The money that is going into all this research should be diverted for researching on how to live in the forest.
