World Mental Health Day: We Must Give Ourselves Time To Heal

I’ve gone through a lot of hard times in the past few years, and now that my life seems to be going pretty smooth, I realise a fear that is being developed inside me. The fear of going through the same things again. That part of me is probably trying to protect me from getting more hurt when something might really happen.

I don’t know if this happens to everyone who has been through a lot, but I think this realisation of what is going on within my mind is a new path for me to heal. October 10 is observed as World Mental Health Day.

So, I hope everyone who is going through hard times realises that better days exist and that you hopefully have someone to talk to about your mental health, and not be judged for it.
